I have worked with Vik for more than 15 years at Delta Resources, inc. where he rose through the ranks of the Finance and Accounting Department, from an accounts payable clerk to Corporate Controller. Vik joined DELTA Resources, Inc. in January 2006 as an accounts payable clerk and climbed the corporate ladder assuming Corporate Controller position in July 2014. He played a key role when we migrated our books from MAS 200 to Costpoint 6 in January 2009. He was also part of Deltek Time and Expense with Employee Self Service implementation. Since Deltek' s implementation he was involved in all major upgrades including migrating to Deltek' s cloud environment. During the system implementation, upgrades, and migration, he ensured end users were communicated and trained in advance to avoid disruption in data collection.

All above efforts required collaboration with other indirect department leads. His work ethics and ability to work in a team is impressive. In addition to being a Costpoint go-to-person, he was able to accomplish his day-to-day functions of managing cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and accounts analysis without any delays in monthly reporting to the board of directors. He empowers his team while ensuring customer service in the forefront of the department’s actions; sets stellar example.

Additionally, he successfully prepared provisional billing rates, managed indirect rates on monthly basis, and submitted the indirect costs submissions within required deadlines. He handled DCAA's provisional billing rates audits, voucher audits, accountings systems audits, and incurred submission audits with confident and always delivered the positive results. He directly dealt with other outside auditors from various state and local authorities with exceptional results. He makes hard things easy!
